Being a dry fruit raisin is extremely popular due to its taste. It is usually made by drying grapes either in sunlight or in dryers. Actual colour of raisin may vary from green to black which depends on the processing type. Being ranked in one of the healthiest snack, it has enough capability to act as an alternative of candies or chocolates due to sweet taste. This dried fruit is usually used in cultural cooking in desserts, cookies, pies, puddings as well as savoury dishes.
