Asperger Syndromeis actually an autism spectrum disorder which has some unique characters experienced by the persons who are affected by this dis order like significant difficulties in social interaction as well in nonverbal communication alongside restricted repetitive patterns of behaviours and interests. After beginning in the childhood this disorder stays same in the adult life too. This disorder is also known as Asperger's syndrome, Asperger disorder (AD) or simply Asperger's. Children who are suffering from this disorder usually perform activities better than the children who are suffering from autism. In 1944, 

Hans Asperger first described this disorder that’s why the name of this disorder is “Asperger Syndrome” as per the name of that doctor. Recently this disorder is recognized as unique disorder that is why the no of persons affected by this disorder is unknown till now though it is thought that 1 out 100 persons in UK are being affected by this disorder and it is more common than autism. The proper cause which is responsible for the outcome of this disease is still unknown though it is thought that genetic cause may be responsible for this disorder. 

This disorder may be inherited from parents to child. This disorder is usually diagnosed by the observation of the individual along with the family members as well as teacher of him/her.Asperger's syndrome may coexist with other psychiatric conditions such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or anxiety disorder.
              
The symptoms of this disorder may vary from person to person and ranging from mild to severe. The symptoms which are common in the individuals affected by this disorder are discussed in the following:
 
  • ·         Difficulty in interacting with others is the most common behavioural symptom of this disease though children’s who are affected by this disorder are awkward in social situations and they cannot make friends easily due to their psychological abnormality.
  • ·         Odd or repetitive movement such hand wringing as well finger twisting may indicated the appearance of this disorder in the individual. The behavioural disorder may vary from person to person.
  • ·         It is observed that the affected persons cannot make eye contact during talking to someone else as a result of this disorder. Using facial expression as well gestures are a great trouble for them even they cannot understand the body language of the other person surrounding him/her.
  • ·         Unusual rituals such getting dressed in a specific order may be found in the children who are severely affected by this disorder.
  • ·         Children affected by this disorder have a limited intensive almost obsessive interest in areas like sport, movies, laws, statics etc.
  • ·          There is a significant change occurred in the movement of the children who are affected by this disorder. Their movement becomes awkward as well as clumsy to.
  • ·         In few cases it is found that the children suffering from Asperger’s syndrome are exceptionally talented in a limited range of co-curricular activities like music, dance.
  • ·         The children have tendency to keep them introvert always without communicating with others in place such as school, play ground etc.
