Being kidney shaped nuts, cashews are considered as nature’s vitamin pill as it consists of different nutritive substances which facilitate lots of health benefits to us. Being a dry fruit, it is also used to prepare variety of dessert preparations for adding nutrition as well as taste too. Being included in the Anacardiaceae family and Anacardium genus, this tree in usually found in the tropical regions though now a day it is cultivated commercially in different parts of the world for its usefulness. ·         Rich source of anti-oxidants: It is recently reported that the cashew nuts is a rich source of antioxidants.
