Easter

Easter

Out of all the Christian holidays, Easter Sunday holds the highest virtue because it’s that glorious when Jesus was resurrected by God after being crucified on Good Friday. Easter Sunday follows immediately after 3 days from Good Friday. Easter Sunday also marks the end of Holy month of Christians known as lent during which Christians perform various religious rituals, pray to God, keep fasts, and do other good deeds.

What is Easter Sunday – Connection between Easter and Resurrection:

Easter Sunday is also known as Resurrection Sunday and many Christians believe that this the exact name for this glorious day instead of Easter Sunday.  Many people think that Easter Sunday is a joyful day because it comprises of Easter bunny, Easter egg hunt and other decorating stuff but it’s not everything about that. Everyone should understand that the most important event in Christian history i.e. resurrection of Jesus took place on this day and that’s what makes this day special.
Is there any connection between Easter Sunday and Resurrection day?

No there’s none! As per Bible, Easter Sunday shares absolutely no connection with the resurrection of Jesus. But actually Easter was originated by Roman Catholic Church in order to make the religion of Christianity more attractive to the people of other religions. Thus, it’s clear that Resurrection of Jesus and Easter have biblically nothing to do with each other and a true Christian won’t allow the joy of Easter day to mask the real joy of Jesus Resurrection on the same day. That’s why Christians should stay focused on the genuine motive of this day besides enjoying the joy of Easter fantasy.

And Jesus Christ our Lord was shown to be the son of God when God powerfully raised him from the dead by means of the Holy Spirit. Through Christ God has given us the privilege and authority to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name
